The new Institutional Version of CELBAN is available to assist educational institutes in assessing the English language proficiency of internationally educated nurses. It is a unique assessment tool which is based on language used in the Canadian nursing context.
How can the Institutional CELBAN be used? - For entry or exit assessment in English for Nursing programs
- For an analysis of students’ strengths and weaknesses (Speaking and Writing)
- For practice for the official CELBAN
- For providing CLB scores in all four skill areas (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing)
Note: The Institutional CELBAN can be used by educational institutions to obtain non-official scores for educational purposes only. If candidates require official CELBAN scores, then they must register for an Official CELBAN at an official CELBAN Administration Site. Institutional CELBAN is based on the same research methodology as the official CELBAN. Results are reported as CLB levels. Test duration: 2 ˝ hours
