Registration Information

To register for CELBAN™, send a completed registration form with payment (choose mail, fax, or email option):

Deadlines and Refunds:

The completed registration form for the CELBAN™ must be sent to the CELAS Centre and be received at least 10 working days prior to the date of the administration of the test.

Cancellations:

Any applicant who cancels more than 10 working days prior to the testing sessions will be refunded, less the $75.00 (plus GST) administration charge. The CELAS Centre must receive notice of cancellation at least 10 working days prior to the test date.

Candidates who cancel less than 10 working days prior to the test date will not receive a refund.

Transfers:

Applicants may also transfer their registration fee to the next scheduled test session. Application for transfer must be made at least 10 working days prior to the scheduled test date.  Applicants will be charged an administration fee of $75.00 (plus GST) for the transfer. Applicants will not be allowed to transfer credit to a later date if requests are made less than 10 working days prior to the scheduled test date.

If applicants must be deferred to a second choice of test date or time due to an insufficient number of registrants, no additional fees will be charged.
The CELAS Centre reserves the right to close registration prior to the deadline if the session is full. Late registrations will be accepted (up to one week prior to the test date) on a space available basis for an additional fee of $50.00.

CELBAN™ Fees:

• Complete CELBAN™ (Listening, Writing, Reading and Speaking) CAN $375.00
• CELBAN™ Speaking only CAN $235.00 
• CELBAN™ Group test only (Listening, Writing, and Reading) CAN $225.00 
• Administration fee for cancellation* CAN $ 75.00 plus GST
• Adminstration fee for transfer CAN $ 75.00 plus GST
• Fee for declined credit card CAN $ 75.00 plus GST
• Fee for each additional official transcript CAN $ 25.00 plus GST
• Fee for late registration (registrations received less than 10 working days before test date; late admission will be allowed based on space available) CAN $ 50.00 

Fees must be paid by Certified Cheque, Postal Money Order (made payable to Red River College) or by credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD). A fee of CAN$ 75.00 (plus GST) will be charged for declined credit cards.

The CELAS Centre reserves the right to change fees at any time.

Confirmation Letter:

A Confirmation Letter will be sent to each candidate by the CELAS Centre. It will be considered a receipt for CELBAN™ fee payment. This Confirmation Letter will include the exact date and time of the group test (CELBAN™ Listening, Writing, and Reading), as well as the exact time and date of the CELBAN™ Speaking Assessment. CELBAN™ Speaking Assessments will be scheduled separately, but as close as possible to the time of the group test (CELBAN™ Listening, Writing, and Reading). This confirmation letter must be presented at the testing site on the day of testing.
